Conference Report 2007

Saturday 10th November 2007 saw some 68 delegates gather together for the 7th Annual UK Work-Stress Network Conference on the theme: "Enforcing the HSE Stress Management Standards".

The Conference Chair, Kathy Jenkins, of the Scottish Hazards Campaign first welcomed the delegates.

David Snowball, the HSE Director of Operations, Yorks & Humberside, spoke about HSE Stress Management Standards.

Sue Espley, Asst. Safety Manager, Good Hope Hospital Trust, Sutton Coldfield then did a presentation the subject of the Implementation of the HSE's Stress Standards.

Jane Ferrie, Senior Research Fellow, Dept of Epidemiology & Public Health, UCL later presented a talk on the Whitehall II Research Project.

Jane Paul, Safety, Health & Equality Adviser, spoke about Gender and Stress.

Finally UKNWSN Convenor Ian Draper concluded with a presentation about the Need for Enforcement.
