About this site

The purpose of this site, which first appeared in its orginal version in December 2001, is to help raise the profile of the UK National Work-Stress Network, whose history of considerable achievement since its inception is catalogued in the Network's booklet you can read on the site.

The site has been re-designed in 2006 to make it more accessible and user friendly for all regardless of their ability and needs. Our accessibility statement gives more detailed desciption of this functionality. At the present time, not all documents are in a fully accessible version and we do apologise for this. We hope to rectify this as soon as we can.

If you have any comments on the site in terms of improvements you would like to see, topics that you would like covered or links that you would like to report as broken, please e-mail the Web Editor here.

Navigation round the site should be fairly simple but if you do get lost, please send us an e-mail explaining what page you were on and what problem you had!

You may wish to download and save .pdf files (Portable Document Format) from the site and to help you do that you can install the latest free Adobe Acrobat Reader from here. Earlier versions of the reader may not incorporate a save facility. Alternatively you can right click on the document link and select "Save Target As..."

You can search the whole site by using the search facility on each page - the index is updated weekly by Freefind. To obtain an overview of the latest pages and when they were added you can click on the "What's new?" link here and if you then click on the "Monitor" link in any of the search results you can set up a service which e-mails you automatically when the page in which you have expressed an interest changes its content.

The whole site was redesigned in 2007 to make it more accessible and a further re-design took place in 2009
